Season's greetings!

This may be my last message for 2018 so I thought I would make it a good one.

If you’re like me this time of year, you’re taking a little extra time with the ones you love and reflecting on 2018.

There was a lot going on in the housing market this year.

According to a July report by CNBC , home prices in Los Angeles hit record highs at the start of the summer, causing sales to slow.

But that’s okay because while the sales slowed, the price per sale went up.

Zillow says the median home value in California rose 6.0% in the past year and the company predicts that number will rise another 7.7% in the next 12 months.

As for the rental market, things leveled off and even took a dip in early and mid-2018. However, they’ve rebounded recently.

Trulia has a great look at the rental market trends  in the Los Angeles area and it shows median rent has risen considerably since the start of the fall.

The number of rentals is also on the rise.

News like this makes me happy because it’s good news for people just like you.

It means the value of your investments is going up and if the rental market trend continues, you’ll also be getting a steady return on your investment month over month.

Okay, enough shop talk.

I also want to take a minute to offer a sincere thank you.

We at PMI want to thank you for considering us for your property management needs.

We value you as potential clients and as friends and hope that this relationship will continue into 2019 and beyond.

We realize there are plenty of choices out there for your property management needs, but knowing that you consider us is a great honor and gift.

We want to get connected with more people like you and so we hope you’ll share the love this holiday season and invite you, your family and friends to join the PMI family.

May you have a safe and happy holiday!
